Chobe: gorgeous, breathtaking vistas deep in the heart of the Botswana wilderness. Would you like to come face-to-face with abundant creatures of the bush, and some of the most spectacular sunsets thinkable?
Far away from the bustle in Kasane guests can enjoy a rarely visited section of the Chobe National Park, the Chobe Forest Reserve. The lodge is easily accessed from Kasane, Victoria Falls and Livingstone.
ACCOMODATION AT MUCHENJE SAFARI LODGE :
11 newly refurbished thatched Safari bungalows, each with its own unique view of the Chobe.
- 1 Safari Suite is a family unit, and accommodates 4 guests:
- a double bed and full bathroom downstairs
- loft area with 2 single beds upstairs
- Other Safari Suites each has:
- good size bathroom with shower, toilet and his/ hers hand-basins
- a ceiling fan
- wardrobe
- electric safe
- writing table
- private, shaded veranda

ACTIVITIES
Guests enjoy flexibility in terms of activities
- Game drives in our open and truly comfortable 4x4 safari vehicles: Our knowledgeable, friendly and professionally qualified guides will accompany you (either early morning, afternoon or full day)
- Game viewing by boat on the Chobe River: a wonderful chance to see huge herds of elephants, as well as many other mammals and birds attracted to the water’s edge
- Bush walking-safaris: here you to learn about the intricacies of the bush as your guide teaches you about the spoor, trees, plants and insects
- ‘Night eyes’ – night game drives: in the lodge’s own concession, the guide uses a spotlight to show the local ‘night life’
- Visits to our local village is a cultural experience. Meet the people that make Botswana the delightful country that it is
WILDLIFE :
Covering a diversity of landscapes ranging from riverine forests to floodplains and periodic marshlands, it is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, hippo in abundance, buffalo, antelope and predators.
