KINGS POOL
Kings Pool Lagoon was apparently named after a Scandinavian monarch who spent a number of nights camping out on the banks of the lagoon
SITUATED :
Located in The Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Kings Pool Camp is a private reserve in the Linyanti / Savuti Channel area in the northern part of Botswana, on the western boundary of Chobe National Park. The source of the Savuti Channel is within this private reserve.
The Linyanti Wildlife Reserve offers one of Africa's most exhilarating wildlife experiences. The area covers 125,000 hectares (about 275,000 acres) of prime wildlife country situated between the Okavango and Chobe region.

WILDLIFE :
The Linyanti area has a large wildlife resource with a wide variety of species, but it is most noted for its very large Elephant population, which can reach enormous densities during our winter months. Covering a diversity of landscapes ranging from riverine forests to floodplains and periodic marshlands, it is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, hippo in abundance, buffalo, antelope and predators.
